Applications are now open for two key positions at BBC Media Action in Nigeria. These positions support a multi-component Social and Behaviour Change Communication programme focused on reproductive health and child spacing in Northern Nigeria. The roles are available for qualified professionals with experience in partnership management, finance, and project operations.

1. Partnership Manager (Nigeria)

The Partnership Manager will oversee partnership management across a multimedia production. The role includes coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment in project activities. In addition, the role involves managing existing partnerships and developing new collaborations. The manager will also monitor activity timelines, support donor engagement, and ensure compliance with BBC Media Action policies including safeguarding, data protection, and branding standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in partnership management and business development. Furthermore, they need knowledge of the media sector and proficiency in English and Hausa. Strong negotiation, communication, supervisory, and organizational skills are required. The position reports to the Project Director.

2. Senior Finance Officer (Nigeria)

The Senior Finance Officer will oversee the finance and accounting functions for the programme. This includes managing budgets, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls. Key responsibilities include providing financial oversight and supporting audit processes. Additionally, the officer ensures value for money, maintains accurate accounting records, and supports project partners in financial compliance. Candidates should hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. They must have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience managing financial systems in complex programmes. The position reports to the Finance Manager.
