Overview

The CIWP Research Manager will support the delivery of strategic goals within the Continuous Improvement Work Program (CIWP) team, focusing on innovative solutions to accelerate emissions reductions globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and strengthening of carbon-crediting integrity
• Conduct technical analysis and evidence-based research
• Draft and review scientific and technical documentation
• Manage analytical workstreams and collaborate with internal and external experts
• Contribute to the organization’s science and research functions
• Ensure high standards of rigor and transparency in CIWP outputs

Requirements

• Strong understanding of carbon markets and environmental principles
• Experience in technical analysis and research in climate or environmental sectors
• Curiosity, research rigor, and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Benefits

Salary: £54,000 - £57,000 per year, based on experience and local market rates if outside the UK.
