Overview
UNESCO is recruiting an Associate Project Officer – Digital Games, offered as a 12-month Service Contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives related to digital games for peace education.
- Conceptualise and design digital educational games focused on peacebuilding, well-being, and sustainable development.
- Collaborate with external developers for game design and implementation.
- Support the development of digital courses and integrate game-based tools into curricula.
- Design and manage research studies assessing the impact of game-based learning.
- Engage with the EdTech ecosystem to build partnerships.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Digital Gaming, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Interactive Media, Learning Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum two years of experience in designing or managing digital educational products and game-based learning tools.
- Proven involvement in digital game design and development.
- Strong understanding of gamification and learning design principles.
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English; working knowledge of Hindi is preferred.
Benefits
- Annual starting salary of approximately INR 3,286,361.
