    Seefar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Strategic Communications Officer to join their team.

    This full-time, contractor role offers flexible working locations, with a focus on developing and implementing innovative communication campaigns in the migration sector.

    The successful candidate will oversee social media strategies, craft evidence-based messaging, supervise communication staff, and contribute to transformative projects that improve lives globally.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Communications (40%)

    • Develop and execute targeted communication campaigns related to migration, reintegration, and livelihoods.
    • Collaborate with research teams to ensure campaigns are evidence-based and tailored to specific audiences.
    • Keep abreast of migration trends, policies, and effective communication strategies.

    Social Media Management (40%)

    • Design and lead engaging social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Oversee content creation for outreach and capacity-building initiatives, ensuring relevance across diverse cultural contexts.

    Monitoring and Learning (10%)

    • Measure campaign effectiveness using data and feedback.
    • Refine strategies accordingly to optimize impact.
    • Support budgeting and reporting processes.

    Supervision (10%)

    • Supervise and coordinate social media and communication field officers.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and high-quality output.

    Candidate Profile

    • Minimum four years of experience in strategic communications or behavior change campaigns, preferably in migration or development sectors.
    • Proven ability to design and implement multi-channel, multi-language campaigns.
    • Proficient in social media platforms and analytics tools; capable of data-driven decision-making.
    • Skilled storyteller with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.

    • Demonstrates core values such as productivity, social purpose, humility, and learning.
    • Strong strategic planning, digital fluency, stakeholder engagement, and adaptability skills.
    • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic are desirable.
    • Experience working across cultures, time zones, and platforms.
