Overview

This opportunity offers a role as a Laboratory Associate at KNCV Nigeria, supporting crucial health interventions in Kano.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for sample transport network and ensure timely movement and results retrieval.
• Oversee GeneXpert laboratories and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Cepheid support teams.
• Supervise Truenat laboratories to maintain testing and timely reporting of results.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate data entry into CommCare systems.
• Collate and validate performance reports from laboratories.
• Monitor GXAlert system functionality and data uploads.
• Manage infrastructure and maintenance activities like repairs and installations.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Cluster Laboratory Advisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in public health programs.
• Practical experience in TB, HIV, community TB, or MDR-TB programs.
• Strong background in fieldwork and community-based interventions in Nigeria.
• Experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.
• Proven ability to manage health data systems and reporting tools.
