Lead DevOps Engineer @NiCE

Overview

The role involves a Lead DevOps Engineer position at NiCE, where the individual will focus on solving infrastructure challenges through software engineering and automation. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for cloud infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Python.
• Build and enhance Terraform code-generation platforms.
• Develop and maintain Puppet modules for Linux and Windows environments.
• Create PowerShell automation solutions for Windows server management.
• Develop internal tools and APIs to simplify infrastructure workflows.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement testing strategies for infrastructure code.
• Collaborate with teams to drive automation solutions.
• Create documentation and standards for automation frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of Python packaging and code quality tooling.
• Experience with Jinja2, building reusable templates.
• Strong Terraform proficiency and experience with code generation.
• Hands-on Puppet experience managing mixed environments.
• Proficient PowerShell scripting experience for automation.
• Solid AWS experience including services like EC2, Lambda, and S3.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms.
