Lead Product Designer, Marketplace @Circle

Overview

The Lead Product Designer for Marketplace at Circle will oversee the end-to-end design of the Discover platform, identifying opportunities and setting design direction while collaborating with a founder-led product team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Discover's design end-to-end, identifying opportunities and framing problems.
• Design AI-driven discovery experiences that build relationships between the platform, creators, and members.
• Understand the marketplace at a systems level to drive design decisions.
• Prototype quickly using AI-assisted tools and closely collaborate with engineers.
• Mentor and elevate the craft standard within the design team.

Requirements

• Strong alignment with Circle's values.
• Proficiency in English at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
• Marketplace or two-sided platform experience, with evidence of shaping outcomes.
• 5+ years of product design experience, including 0→1 work and multi-user flows.
• Experience as the most senior designer in a product area.
• Genuine fluency with AI-assisted prototyping tools.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Proactive communication skills.
• Comfort in designing within ambiguous contexts.

Benefits
