Lead Product Manager - AI Enablement @Xero

Overview

This role involves shaping how an entire technology organization operates in the AI era at Xero. The Lead Product Manager for AI Enablement will build shared platforms and operating models to facilitate AI-native delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives across the full delivery lifecycle, combining strategy, execution, and measurable organizational impact.
• Lead decision-making across products and teams, connecting work across different development phases.
• Build strong AI product practices through training and coaching.
• Focus on building and scaling capabilities behind Xero's AI-native delivery model.
• Align stakeholders on strategy and priorities, establishing baselines for adoption, delivery speed, cost, quality, and technology health.
• Publish quarterly roadmaps, operating models, and governance approaches for initiatives.
• Facilitate the transition of high-value workflows from pilot to repeatable adoption.

Requirements

• Strong platform product management experience, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, data, or AI.
• Ability to conceptualize systems, effectively connecting various phases and teams.
• Expertise in translating complex technical possibilities into clear outcomes and investment decisions.
• Outcome-focused approach to discovery, delivery, and measurement, with a proven track record of success.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity, evolving technology, and incomplete information.
• Possess curiosity, pragmatism, and resilience to transform early experiments into scalable products.
