Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Belgium is hiring a Driver for a fixed-term position in Birnin Kebbi, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Drive MSF vehicles safely for the transport of staff and authorized goods.
Ensure daily and weekly vehicle checks, cleanliness, and proper maintenance records.
Observe traffic laws and MSF security and safety protocols.
Ensure all vehicle documents and driver’s license are valid and available.
Accurately record movements, mileage, fuel use, and maintenance in logbooks.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods with correct documentation.
Communicate movements and incidents to the line manager and base.
Support emergency and outreach movements as assigned.
Ensure IPC-compliant cleaning of ambulances and referral vehicles.
Report any vehicle faults or incidents promptly.

Requirements

Basic literacy

Valid driver’s license

Minimum of 2 years driving experience

Experience driving 4x4 vehicles, vans, or trucks is an advantage

Previous experience with NGOs or MSF is an advantage

English language required

Hausa, Fulani or Suru language is an advantage
