Overview
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a highly skilled Regional Talent Acquisition Lead to join its Eastern Africa office, contributing to a globally recognized humanitarian organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
- Design and execute talent attraction and recruitment strategies.
- Lead employer branding initiatives to position MSF as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with communications teams to enhance visibility and outreach.
- Develop and implement recruitment and selection policies.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for international and HQ staff.
- Create annual recruitment plans and performance targets.
- Identify and map talent pools across Eastern Africa.
- Implement data-driven recruitment practices using analytics and metrics.
- Organize outreach initiatives such as career fairs and information sessions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and policies.
- Supervise and coordinate the recruitment team.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
- Monitor team performance and ensure timely evaluations.
- Promote safer recruitment practices and safeguarding compliance.
- Identify and report any misconduct or safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, Psychology, Humanities, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent acquisition or HR roles.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing teams in an international context.
- Experience in non-profit or humanitarian organizations is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment and selection methods.
- Data analytics and recruitment metrics expertise (desirable).
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and problem-solving skills.
