Key Responsibilities
- Lead Secure Build and SCS Services, managing delivery, team health, growth, and operational excellence.
- Create a coherent portfolio plan from two changing roadmaps with clear priorities and trade-offs.
- Partner with Product to shape strategy and roadmaps for secure build and related services.
- Stay engaged with technical work through design reviews and incident responses.
- Ensure technical direction meets product, security, reliability, and customer priorities.
- Own team interfaces, including trust boundaries, contracts, and customer-facing failures.
- Balance new product development with operational demands and invest in reliability improvements.
- Drive engineer growth and performance management.
- Align cross-functional partners while protecting team focus.
- Facilitate clear communication of decisions, risks, and progress across time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in backend or infrastructure.
- Experience with team growth and performance management.
- Strong judgement in backend systems, APIs, and production operations.
- Understanding of software supply-chain security and trust boundaries.
- Strong product judgement with experience in shaping product roadmaps.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional influencing skills.
