Manager, Solutions Engineering @Scribe

Overview

Scribe is hiring its first Manager, Solutions Engineering to build and lead a founding team focused on strategic deals. This role involves earning the trust of executives by demonstrating the capabilities of Scribe's platform and transforming those capabilities into measurable outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the Solutions Engineering function, defining processes, scope, and playbooks for scalability.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a founding team of Solutions Engineers.
• Provide technical credibility to new business opportunities and assist from discovery through close.
• Deliver proof of concepts that demonstrate business value.
• Act as a liaison between Go-to-Market and Product leadership, integrating customer feedback into the roadmap.
• Develop reusable demo assets and proof-of-concept frameworks.
• Evolve the function using performance data as the product and customer base grow.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of people management experience leading technical customer-facing teams.
• Experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Able to explain AI product concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience in building functions from scratch and designing scalable programs.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into actionable business value.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Location

SF or NYC. SF is hybrid with three days in the office per week; NYC is fully remote.
