Overview

Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, a managed observability platform used by over 10,000 organizations. The Manager of Solutions Engineering role focuses on building and managing a team of Solution Engineers in the NEMEA region to ensure customer success and drive product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Attract, recruit, and mentor a high-performing team of Presales Solution Engineers.
• Adopt a player/coach mentality to balance field responsibilities with team needs.
• Plan and execute strategies in collaboration with sales leadership to drive customer adoption.
• Executive sponsorship of key accounts to establish thought leadership.
• Understand customer strategies and develop supportive programs and materials.
• Ensure customer product requirements are met through collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.
• Report quarterly on team performance and oversee evaluations of software through various techniques.
• Enable and drive sales through channel partners.

Requirements

• 5-10 years in the high-tech industry with experience in roles such as Developer or Sales Engineer.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth remote-first environment.
• Track record of mentoring and managing performance.
• Experience in open-source selling or cloud-first sales strategies is a plus.
• Direct experience with sales methodologies and monitoring/data visualization products.
• Ability to manage a business book and meet/exceed targets.
• Fluency in English; a second European language is preferred.
• Located in Sweden.
