Overview

The role of Manager of Solutions Engineering for the NEMEA region at Grafana Labs involves building and managing a high-performing team of Solution Engineers. The company is recognized for Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform trusted by over 10,000 organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Attract, recruit, ramp up, and mentor a diverse team of Presales SEs.
• Implement a servant leadership approach to maximize team performance.
• Plan and manage the day-to-day operations based on goals from leadership.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on customer programs and marketing initiatives.
• Serve as the executive sponsor for key accounts in the region.
• Understand customer strategies for adopting Grafana technologies and develop enabling programs.
• Ensure customer requirements are met in partnership with Product Management and Engineering.
• Monitor and report on team performance and effectiveness in sales activities.
• Drive enablement and collaboration with channel partners.

Requirements

• 5-10 years in the high-tech industry with experience in roles such as Developer, Architect, or Sales Engineer.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
• Proven success in mentoring and developing team members.
• Familiarity with open-source selling and cloud-first sales models is a plus.
• Experience implementing formal sales methodologies.
• Background in selling monitoring/data/visualization products.
• Fluency in English, with a second European language preferred.
• Based in the Netherlands.
