    The selected intern will work closely with production teams, engineers, technicians, and pillar leaders to drive manufacturing performance and operational efficiency initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will support the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives across the factory.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Manufacturing Systems Support

    • Assist with implementation of the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS)
    • Support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities on the production floor
    • Help maintain manufacturing standards and operational discipline
    • Monitor sustainability of continuous improvement initiatives

    Continuous Improvement Activities

    • Participate in Kaizen and focused improvement projects
    • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving exercises
    • Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions
    • Identify operational abnormalities and recommend improvements

    Documentation and Standards

    • Assist with development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Support creation of One Point Lessons (OPLs)
    • Help maintain technical and operational standards
    • Promote adherence to established manufacturing processes

    Performance Monitoring

    • Participate in daily and weekly performance review meetings
    • Track action items and support closure of identified gaps
    • Assist in validating implemented improvements
    • Monitor operational performance indicators

    Shop Floor Excellence

    • Support restoration of basic operating conditions
    • Promote 5S workplace organization practices
    • Assist with implementation of visual management systems
    • Work alongside operators and technicians to strengthen capability development

    Safety and Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to safety standards
    • Support quality management initiatives
    • Promote environmental compliance practices
    • Contribute to a safe and productive workplace culture
