How to Apply

Applicants must submit their fellowship application by email as a single PDF document to Megatrends-Afrika@swp-berlin.org. The application package must include:

A one-page motivation letter
An academic CV including a list of publications
Two recent academic publications
Copies of relevant academic transcripts or diplomas
A project concept note (maximum 2,000 words)

The application deadline is March 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CET.

Fellowship Location and Duration

The fellowship will take place in fall 2026 and will last for three months at partner institutions in Germany.
