Overview
This role offers an opportunity for experienced fundraising professionals to support nonprofit philanthropic growth and fundraising operations remotely while engaging high-net-worth individuals to strengthen donor support.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of 100–135 donors and prospects
- Cultivating and stewarding major donor relationships
- Soliciting flexible and unrestricted gifts
- Developing personalized donor engagement strategies
- Increasing donor retention and gift upgrades
- Identifying and cultivating new prospective donors
- Supporting pipeline growth within the Western United States
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in major gifts fundraising, private philanthropy, or donor engagement
- Proven track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Experience using CRMs and donor databases, especially NXT
- Knowledge of international development and humanitarian work
