Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery and Research (70%)
  • Lead the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Develop theories of change and monitoring frameworks
  • Design survey tools, field protocols, and evaluation methodologies
  • Manage field teams and ensure data quality across projects
  • Analyse datasets and produce high-quality reports for varied audiences
• Methods and Statistical Analysis (20%)
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Apply causal inference techniques and regression modelling
  • Clean, structure, and interpret complex datasets
  • Support sampling strategies and ensure adherence to research standards
• Internal Learning and Quality (10%)
  • Contribute to organisational learning and innovation
  • Improve internal monitoring and evaluation systems
  • Support training for field staff and enumerators
  • Explore new tools such as AI-assisted research and data visualisation techniques

Requirements

• Academic background in economics, statistics, public policy, or a related field
• At least four years of professional experience in research or evaluation
• Proven experience in international development, migration, or fragile contexts
• Proficiency in statistical tools such as R, Stata, or Python
• Strong understanding of mixed methods research approaches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Experience supporting field teams and managing data collection processes
• Strong organisational and teamwork skills
