Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery and Research (70%)
- Lead the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities
- Develop theories of change and monitoring frameworks
- Design survey tools, field protocols, and evaluation methodologies
- Manage field teams and ensure data quality across projects
- Analyse datasets and produce high-quality reports for varied audiences
- Methods and Statistical Analysis (20%)
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Apply causal inference techniques and regression modelling
- Clean, structure, and interpret complex datasets
- Support sampling strategies and ensure adherence to research standards
- Internal Learning and Quality (10%)
- Contribute to organisational learning and innovation
- Improve internal monitoring and evaluation systems
- Support training for field staff and enumerators
- Explore new tools such as AI-assisted research and data visualisation techniques
Requirements
- Academic background in economics, statistics, public policy, or a related field
- At least four years of professional experience in research or evaluation
- Proven experience in international development, migration, or fragile contexts
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as R, Stata, or Python
- Strong understanding of mixed methods research approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Experience supporting field teams and managing data collection processes
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills
