    Overview

    The Partnership Finance Assistant role presents a strong opportunity for finance and administration professionals seeking to contribute to impactful humanitarian and development work. This position is offered by the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner Support and Guidance
      • Review and ensure quality of partner financial documentation
      • Support partners in improving financial management practices
      • Promote the use of ACTED templates for reporting and compliance
      • Track partner performance and follow up on compliance issues
    • Reporting and Compliance
      • Maintain an updated database of partner agreements and financial records
      • Review financial reports and ensure timely submission
      • Prepare and manage cashbooks within the accounting system
      • Archive financial documents for audits and reference
      • Assist in drafting partnership agreements, including MoUs and contracts
    • Internal Coordination
      • Ensure data accuracy in line with ACTED and donor guidelines
      • Support risk mitigation processes and identify capacity gaps
      • Participate in partner training and capacity-building activities
      • Assist in preparing materials for project meetings (Kick-Off and Close-Out)
    • Additional Duties
      • Promote adherence to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policies
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Finance Officer

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance, grant management, or compliance
    • Experience working with NGOs or international organisations is highly desirable
    • Strong understanding of donor compliance and sub-grant management
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent analytical, organisational, and coordination skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Fluency in English
