The Society for Family Health (SFH) is a leading Nigerian non-governmental organisation dedicated to improving public health outcomes and promoting social justice across the country. There are multiple job openings for the role of Programme Youth Innovation and Engagement Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between SFH programmes and youth communities, ensuring young people's voices are integrated into programme decisions.
Promote youth-led innovation initiatives that contribute to programme effectiveness.
Support the design and implementation of youth-centered interventions within the A360 programme.
Gather and utilize youth insights and data to inform programming.
Drive meaningful adolescent engagement through community outreach and participatory activities.
Collaborate with programme teams to ensure inclusivity and relevance of interventions.
Support continuous feedback and learning for programme adaptation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Sociology, Economics, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field.
Relevant training or experience with a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) or during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Between six months to one year of post-NYSC experience within the health or development sector.
Involvement in health promotion, youth development, or community engagement initiatives.
Basic knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) processes and tools.
Understanding of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
