Overview

The OHP Assistant at INTERSOS is responsible for implementing WASH activities within IDPs and host communities, ensuring gender balance and community ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure community participation in all WASH activities.
Mobilize, train, and follow up on communities/WASH committees formed by INTERSOS.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in WASH, preferably with a humanitarian organization.
Relevant experience and training in Hygiene Promotion.
Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel, and internet).
Excellent program implementation skills.
Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
Understanding of the local language (Hausa or Kanuri) is an added advantage.
