Overview

Applications are open for the OPEC Fund Young Professional Development Program (YPDP) 2026, a structured two-year program designed to prepare young professionals from OPEC Fund member countries for careers in global development.

Eligibility

National of an OPEC Fund member country
30 years or younger at the time of application
Master’s degree or higher from a reputable university with excellent academic performance
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Specialization in fields relevant to the OPEC Fund’s work (e.g., Economics, Finance, Engineering, IT, Law, Human Resources, Business Administration)
Ability to work in a global and culturally diverse environment
Understanding of the OPEC Fund’s mandate and mission
Willingness to serve at the OPEC Fund for at least two years upon completion of the program
