🎯 Job Summary

The Dispensing Pharmacist will be responsible for:

• Dispensing medicines and medical commodities
• Providing patient counselling and medication guidance
• Maintaining accurate pharmaceutical records and stock management

This role is critical in ensuring safe, effective, and accountable delivery of healthcare services in humanitarian settings.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide clear patient counselling
• Maintain stock control systems (FEFO, bin cards, stock registers)
• Monitor medicine usage and consumption trends
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Prevent stock-outs through timely replenishment requests
• Track expiry dates and report damaged/expired drugs
• Conduct inventory checks (periodic and annual)
• Support health education and medication adherence
• Supervise pharmacy assistants where applicable
• Ensure compliance with national and international pharmacy standards

🎓 Requirements

✅ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with Ministry of Health (MOH)

📊 Experience

• Minimum 1+ year experience in dispensing

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices
• Good communication skills (English & local languages)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
