Overview
Plan International is seeking a Global Assurance Manager to enhance internal systems, governance, and accountability frameworks, contributing to the mission of advancing children's rights and promoting equality for girls.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a regional assurance team.
- Developing and executing the annual audit plan across country and regional offices.
- Conducting assurance reviews to evaluate governance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Providing strategic advisory support to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Driving organisational learning and recommending improvements.
- Leading advisory engagements that support the Global Assurance Strategy.
- Promoting fraud risk awareness and strengthening safeguarding practices.
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems, policies, and operational processes.
Requirements
- Extensive background in auditing, risk management, and internal control systems.
- Proven experience managing multiple audits across diverse locations.
- Strong analytical skills with practical recommendations capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, particularly within multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of risks in the development and humanitarian sectors.
- Familiarity with donor compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Desirable: Professional certifications such as CIA, CFE, CRMA, or CISA; proficiency in French.
