    Overview

    The ETH Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (ETH Fellows) at ETH Zurich is a prestigious early-career research opportunity designed to support outstanding postdoctoral researchers globally. It enables talented scholars to conduct independent research while collaborating with leading experts at ETH Zurich.

    Eligibility

    • Applicants must hold a PhD degree or complete their PhD within six months after the submission deadline.
    • PhD holders must have received their degree no more than two years before the submission deadline.
    • Must submit a certification confirming the planned defense date signed by the doctoral advisor or department chair if they haven't completed their PhD yet.
    • Applicants must have at least one scientific publication in a peer-reviewed journal or received a prize for their doctoral thesis.
    • Must follow strict international mobility rules and not have resided or worked in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the three years before the deadline.
    • A mentor at ETH Zurich is required to support the application.

    Benefits

    4. Start a new application under “My Applications”.
    5. Select the ETH Postdoctoral Fellowship call.
    6. Complete all mandatory fields in the application form.
    7. Upload required documents.
    8. Add the host professor under the Participants section.
    9. Add two reference providers under the References section.
    10. Validate the application to ensure all required sections are complete.
    11. Submit the application before the deadline.
