Principal, Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager @Dropbox

Overview

The Principal, Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager will lead Dropbox’s enterprise competitive intelligence program across various divisions, including Dropbox Core, DocSend, Sign and Sign API, and Dropbox Protect. This role involves working closely with strategic decisions to strengthen Dropbox’s competitive positioning and inform product and market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise competitive intelligence program across multiple Dropbox divisions.
• Establish a company-wide operating model for competitive intelligence.
• Translate market shifts and competitor actions into actionable recommendations.
• Produce decision-ready intelligence tailored for various audiences.
• Own and modernize the win/loss program in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Equip customer-facing teams to compete effectively through enhanced enablement.
• Utilize AI and automation to scale the competitive intelligence program.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or related B2B SaaS fields.
• Ownership of an end-to-end competitive intelligence program.
• Ability to translate complex signals into clear recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product Marketing, and Product teams.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI-powered software, e-signature, or document workflows.
• Experience modernizing competitive intelligence across multiple products.
• Familiarity with research platforms like Crayon and AlphaSense.
• Experience with Revenue Operations or Sales Operations.

Benefits

Salary range for this position in Canada is between $173,400 — $234,600 CAD.
