Overview
Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead XDR and exposure management capabilities within its security solutions. The role involves owning the strategy and delivery of cross-domain detection and response products, working at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and the Elastic Security Labs research team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own XDR strategy and delivery across detection and response domains including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
- Lead expansion into exposure and vulnerability management including patch management and remediation workflow.
- Integrate attack surface and cloud posture into prioritization processes.
- Collaborate with the Entity Analytics team on asset criticality and exposure prioritization.
- Serve as the product voice with senior customer stakeholders, providing roadmap direction.
- Provide insights on the competitive landscape and drive differentiated product direction.
- Work with engineering leads to create actionable requirements and ground scoring in real threat research.
- Create visibility artifacts for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of product management experience, with a minimum of 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
- Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or broader security operations, either as a product manager or practitioner.
- Fluency in exposure and vulnerability management principles and practices.
- Understanding of analytics and data science techniques relevant to detection and prioritization.
- Technical credibility in working with engineering teams and defining feasible requirements.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success functions effectively.
- Familiarity with AI tools for work synthesis and delivery.
