    Overview

    Docker is launching a Professional Services organization to accelerate customer success and drive enterprise adoption for agentic workloads. The Principal Solutions Architect will play a critical role in building and scaling this function, engaging directly with senior leadership and shaping service strategy to enhance both services revenue and platform expansion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop repeatable reference architecture patterns for self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, AI agent environments, and secure supply chain workflows.
    • Translate reference architectures into customer-facing technical collateral and success patterns to improve delivery consistency.
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and revenue teams to align services with Docker's AI platform roadmap.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, facilitating adoption of modern containerization and AI workflows.
    • Lead technical discovery and architecture engagements, ensuring delivery of self-hosted Docker deployments in complex environments.
    • Influence technology adoption and investment decisions as a strategic partner.
    • Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and translate insights into actionable strategies.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years as a Professional Services Solution Architect or Technical Consultant at a SaaS/infrastructure company.
    • Experience architecting self-hosted and air-gapped deployment architectures.
    • Enterprise integration experience with Identity Providers and federated identity protocols.
    • Knowledge of Model Context Protocol and its application in agentic AI toolchains.
    • Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows in enterprise environments.
    • Understanding of container and software supply chain security.
    • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
    • Recognition as a strategic technical advisor by enterprise customers.
