Overview

The Principal Solutions Engineer at 1Password will help define how the company brings emerging technologies to market, collaborating across various departments to enhance product capabilities and customer engagement. This remote role is open to candidates in the United States or Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation for emerging products and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to influence product direction based on field feedback.
• Develop discovery frameworks, technical messaging, and implementation guidance for the Solutions Engineering team.
• Conduct technical enablement through workshops and certifications.
• Engage with strategic customers and lead early-adopter initiatives to influence outcomes.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and represent 1Password at various events.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance technical excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles in B2B SaaS.
• Proven ability to translate emerging technologies into customer value and product recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate capabilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing various stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC).
