Overview

The role of Product Manager II, Content Compliance at Pinterest involves managing compliance engineering, ensuring the company meets regulations related to content and intellectual property laws while enhancing user privacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand global and domestic legislative landscapes related to content and IP laws to inform prioritization.
• Own and drive the Compliance Engineering product roadmap, including tools for rights holders and legal reporting channels.
• Partner with Engineering to develop systems and features that scale across legislation.
• Own and improve copyright and trademark tools for rights holders to manage their content at scale.
• Lead key compliance projects in collaboration with Legal, Operations, Policy, Engineering, and other product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product development at fast-growing technology companies.
• Experience and passion for legal and copyright/rights-related initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment.
• Strong skills in communicating complex concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Benefits

This role can be situated anywhere in the United States with an in-office requirement of 1-2 times per quarter for collaboration.
