    Overview

    The Programme Development & Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor position with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) provides an opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to global counter-terrorism and development initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the design and development of PRR and PCVE programmes and projects.
    • Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses across programme areas.
    • Facilitate consultations with stakeholders, including civil society and partner organizations.
    • Develop programme documentation and implementation plans.
    • Support resource mobilization and donor engagement strategies.
    • Provide technical guidance to programme teams on the development of robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
    • Deliver training and capacity-building activities related to monitoring and evaluation.

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree or equivalent in related fields with seven years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with nine years of relevant professional experience.
    • Strong technical and analytical capabilities in programme evaluation and development.
    • Counter-terrorism programme analysis and qualitative/quantitative research methodologies.
    • Fluent communication skills in English; basic proficiency in other languages (Arabic, French, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) is desirable.

    Benefits

    Contract type: ICA – IICA Regular. Initial duration of three months with potential for extension based on performance and funding.
