    Programme Lead Role Designed to Drive Country-Level Impact

    The Programme Lead position serves as the primary operational and strategic representative of GrowthAfrica within the assigned country. The successful candidate will oversee programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and participant support while managing a local team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete programme lifecycle within their assigned country.

    Core responsibilities include:

    • Translating programme strategies into operational country plans
    • Managing entrepreneur recruitment and participant pipelines

    • Facilitating workshops, training sessions, and engagement activities
    • Leading and developing country-based programme teams
    • Managing relationships with ecosystem partners and stakeholders
    • Engaging investors, mentors, innovation hubs, and government institutions
    • Supporting outreach to women entrepreneurs, including those in rural and peri-urban communities
    • Ensuring compliance with grant management and safeguarding requirements
    • Contributing to organisational reporting and programme evaluation processes

    The role requires a combination of operational discipline, stakeholder management, and entrepreneurial ecosystem expertise.

    • Knowledge of local startup ecosystems and entrepreneur support networks
    • Team management and leadership experience
    • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and resource-constrained environments
