Overview

International IDEA is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to oversee the Rule of Law, Access to Justice and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) Programme in Nigeria. This 5-year EU-funded program aims to enhance the criminal justice system, improve access to justice for vulnerable groups, and increase transparency and accountability of anti-corruption systems.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure successful implementation of the RoLAC programme within budget and timelines.
Lead, manage, and provide strategic direction to the RoLAC programme team.
Oversee programme planning, monitoring, and reporting.
Coordinate with internal and external partners, including the EU and the Government of Nigeria.
Represent the RoLAC II programme externally and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Manage programme risks and ensure adherence to EU and International IDEA regulations.
Provide strategic line management and leadership to the programme team.

Requirements

Post-graduate qualification in social science, political science, international law, international development, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Rule of Law, Access to Justice, Anti-Corruption, programme management, and implementation.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience, including senior-level positions with supervision of international teams.
Excellent understanding of programming, monitoring, and evaluation approaches.
Experience in managing EU-funded programmes is an advantage.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or any other AU language is an advantage.

Benefits

Salary: EUR 7,258 NET per month + benefits.
Contract: Fixed term appointment until 31 December 2027.
