Overview

The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research is seeking a Project Assistant for the All-Atlantic Ocean Research and Innovation Alliance project. This role contributes to shaping sustainable food from the ocean.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and synthesize existing literature on societal acceptance of sustainable aquaculture
• Summarize challenges, best practices, and key recommendations identified in relevant sources
• Identify research gaps that AAORIA could address
• Ensure findings cover all parts of the Atlantic and multiple trophic levels
• Collaborate with the OKEANO Secretariat for feedback, quality control, and publication

Requirements

• Early Career Ocean Professional, preferably with a Ph.D. or postdoctoral experience
• Background in marine biology, aquaculture, social sciences, or related fields
• Strong skills in literature review and scientific writing
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across institutions
