Job Overview
Seefar Foundation is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the New Pathways to Resilience (NPR) programme, a 3-year EU-funded initiative aimed at reducing irregular migration across the Eastern Mediterranean and Western Balkan routes.
The role involves coordinating field teams, workplans, logistics, and operational activities across multiple countries, with a clear pathway toward advancing into a Project Manager position.
The successful candidate will work remotely, contributing to impactful social change through innovative migration and community resilience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Implementation Support (50%)
- Support day-to-day delivery of the multi-country strategic communications programme under NPR
- Coordinate implementation activities, maintain timelines, and ensure follow-up across workstreams
- Act as liaison between field teams, consultants, and stakeholders
- Organize regular meetings, supervise activities, and track progress using workplans and risk logs
- Address operational challenges proactively
Operations and Logistics Coordination (25%)
- Manage logistics for travel, accommodation, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Support onboarding of consultants and coordinate logistical arrangements
- Liaise with operational teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure documentation remains organized
Financial, Reporting, and Administrative Support (15%)
- Assist in budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, and financial documentation
- Coordinate invoice collection and support reporting for donors and internal updates
- Support recruitment and consultant administration processes
Learning, Quality, and Professional Development (10%)
- Contribute to strengthening project systems and internal knowledge sharing
- Support documentation management and continuous process improvements
Candidate Profile
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 4 years experience in project coordination, programme operations, or implementation support
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-country projects in migration, international development, or social impact sectors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting field teams, stakeholders, and cross-country coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Google Workspace and project management platforms like Wrike
- Familiarity with social media, digital communication, or behavioural change programming is advantageous
- Experience working within MENA, migration contexts, or Eastern Mediterranean regions preferred
- Additional language skills (Arabic, Turkish, Bengali, Dari/Pashto, Urdu) are a plus
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
