JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), a global nonprofit organization committed to improving health, education, and socioeconomic outcomes, is seeking a qualified professional to join its team as a State Immunization Technical Advisor in Kaduna State.

🧩 Role Summary

The State Immunization Technical Advisor will provide high-level technical leadership and support to the State Primary Health Care Development Agency/Board (SPHCDA/B). The role focuses on strengthening routine immunization programs, improving vaccination coverage, and addressing barriers affecting zero-dose and under-immunized children, particularly in underserved communities.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to SPHCDA/B and participate in technical working groups
Support planning and implementation of routine immunization strategies
Collaborate with national bodies and partners to evaluate immunization performance
Analyze program data and guide corrective actions
Strengthen partnerships with NGOs and local stakeholders
Lead reporting activities and ensure timely submission of project reports
Supervise state-level project teams and coordinate activities
Maintain communication with JSI Nigeria leadership and global teams

🎓 Qualifications

Advanced degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public health and program management
Strong knowledge of immunization systems and maternal/child health
Experience working with government health systems in Nigeria
Proven leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Fluency in English
