Key Responsibilities

Coordinate project activities at the LGA level.
Support community development planning processes.
Strengthen governance structures such as LGDCCs, WDCCs, and WDSCs.
Engage stakeholders and facilitate capacity-building initiatives.
Promote transparency and citizen participation.
Ensure effective collaboration with local authorities and partners.
Integrate themes such as gender equality, inclusion, safeguarding, and conflict sensitivity into project activities.
Monitor progress, support data collection, and contribute to evidence-based reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field.
Minimum of four years of relevant experience in community development or social cohesion.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
Familiarity with the local context and languages of Adamawa and Borno States is an advantage.
