Overview

Mercy Corps is inviting applications for the position of Project Officer under its Energy 4 Impact platform, based in Abuja for a 10-month contract focused on clean energy and climate aligned development.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate field activities and support programme implementation.
Organize community engagements, capacity building sessions, and stakeholder consultations.
Ensure alignment with donor requirements and manage logistics.
Support budgeting and reporting processes.
Maintain strong relationships with government institutions, private sector actors, and community partners.

Requirements

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in energy, environmental studies, development studies, project management, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working on development or donor-funded projects.
Familiarity with clean energy, climate initiatives, and stakeholder engagement in Nigeria is highly desirable.
