Overview

This position offers a strategic and technical leadership role in protection programming, focusing on addressing the needs of civilians affected by marginalization, conflict, and economic instability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead protection programming across multiple states, ensuring quality and coherence.
Design and implement strategies for gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, protection monitoring, and community-based initiatives.
Conduct continuous context analysis and adapt programs accordingly.
Engage with stakeholders and represent the organization in coordination platforms.
Manage reporting, proposal development, and fundraising efforts.
Supervise senior protection staff and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Oversee budgets, logistics, and contribute to security planning.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Humanitarian Project Management, Social Sciences, Law, or Gender Studies.
Minimum of five years’ experience in senior protection programming in humanitarian contexts.
Strong expertise in GBV programming and protection monitoring.
Experience working in high-risk environments.
