Public Relations Specialist @Orca Security

Overview

The Public Relations Specialist at Orca will amplify the company's narrative across media platforms and the cybersecurity community globally. This role involves working closely with external PR agencies and driving public relations programs across the US and Europe, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Orca's PR agencies, managing priorities and timelines.
• Support media relations by drafting press materials, coordinating interviews, and managing rapid-response opportunities.
• Translate Orca's research and data into compelling media stories.
• Drive thought leadership by managing bylines, articles, awards submissions, and speaking opportunities.
• Prepare spokesperson materials and media training.
• Track and report on PR performance across regions.
• Coordinate PR support for company milestones and events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of PR experience in B2B technology, especially in cybersecurity or cloud.
• Experience in US and European markets, coordinating with regional agencies.
• Ability to manage agency relationships and outcomes effectively.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse global audiences.
• Project management skills to handle multiple concurrent programs.
• Self-starter mentality for a remote, fast-paced environment.
