Overview

The Refugee Fellows Program 2026–27 is a virtual, year-long fellowship designed to support and enhance the advocacy efforts of refugee and displaced leaders worldwide.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open worldwide, with priority given to applicants working in regions and themes aligned with Refugees International’s current advocacy priorities. Applicants must not be employed by government agencies, UN bodies, or philanthropic foundations. Proficiency in English is preferred, but those with limited English may still be considered.

Benefits

• Fellows receive a $15,000 grant paid quarterly.
• Optional access to mental health support services.
