Overview

This position as a Research Assistant focuses on the digitization and field testing of an AI-powered behavioral savings intervention in Rwanda, aimed at improving financial planning and savings outcomes among low-income households in low- and middle-income countries.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the adaptation of the existing behavioral tool into a digital format using AI chatbot systems.
Conduct qualitative fieldwork, including focus groups and interviews.
Oversee field implementation and pilot testing of the intervention.
Manage project coordination with academic teams and local implementing organizations.
Ensure smooth communication among stakeholders and oversee data collection systems.

Requirements

At least two years of relevant research or fieldwork experience.
Willingness to be based in Rwanda.
Experience in low- and middle-income countries.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong English communication skills.
