Overview

This position offers a two-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension for candidates passionate about evidence-based education and health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Study design
• Survey and research instrument development
• Monitoring implementation fidelity
• Data quality assurance
• Programming electronic surveys
• Training facilitators and field teams
• Monitoring field implementation
• Organizing research databases
• Managing administrative and monitoring datasets
• Cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets using statistical software (Stata, R, Python)
• Preparing reports and visualizations
• Sharing findings with academic and policy audiences
• Supporting program improvement discussions
• Collaborating with governments, NGOs, and international partners
• Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team learning initiatives

Requirements

• A Master’s degree or PhD in economics, public policy, or a related field
• Strong quantitative and statistical analysis experience
• Advanced knowledge of Stata or similar statistical software
• Familiarity with randomized evaluations and econometric methods
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation or quantitative field research
• Strong communication and organizational skills

In exceptional cases, applicants with a bachelor’s degree and significant relevant experience may also be considered.
