Key Responsibilities
- Study design
- Survey and research instrument development
- Monitoring implementation fidelity
- Data quality assurance
- Programming electronic surveys
- Training facilitators and field teams
- Monitoring field implementation
- Organizing research databases
- Managing administrative and monitoring datasets
- Cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets using statistical software (Stata, R, Python)
- Preparing reports and visualizations
- Sharing findings with academic and policy audiences
- Supporting program improvement discussions
- Collaborating with governments, NGOs, and international partners
- Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team learning initiatives
Requirements
- A Master’s degree or PhD in economics, public policy, or a related field
- Strong quantitative and statistical analysis experience
- Advanced knowledge of Stata or similar statistical software
- Familiarity with randomized evaluations and econometric methods
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation or quantitative field research
- Strong communication and organizational skills
In exceptional cases, applicants with a bachelor’s degree and significant relevant experience may also be considered.
