The Residential Design & Preconstruction Specialist will design and prefabricate custom residential homes, with a role starting at 10–20 hours per week, growing to full-time as project volume increases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design development, taking designs from rough customer layouts to approved final plans and producing renderings.
• Build and maintain a templated library of plan sets for customers.
• Produce complete, construction-ready Revit models for architectural, structural framing, and MEP.
• Prepare files for engineering and production teams to ensure every design is buildable.
• Review prospects' existing plans and recommend refinements for robotic construction.
• Produce pricing breakdowns and preliminary bids using industry cost data.
• Participate in plan reviews with prospects and customers, acting as the design and pricing expert.

Requirements

• Experience modeling residential buildings in Revit to construction-document level.
• Strong knowledge of US wood-frame construction, IRC, and NEC regulations.
• Experience in construction estimating with real project costs.
• Comfort in customer-facing settings, presenting designs and handling feedback.
• Disciplined modeling habits and reliable delivery against milestones.
