S&O Manager - Rider Fraud @Deliveroo

Overview

This role will lead the approach to understanding and reducing courier/rider fraud and abuse across Wolt and Deliveroo. The focus will be on combining data-led investigation with strong operational judgment to identify emerging risk patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a programme of work to identify, assess and prioritise courier/rider fraud and abuse risks.
• Translate identified risks into proportionate policy and operational responses.
• Implement, monitor, and refine fraud and abuse policies with measures of effectiveness.
• Develop policy approaches considering legal, regulatory, compliance, and reputational implications.
• Build a deep understanding of courier/rider operating models to identify fraud risk areas.
• Develop analytical approaches and metrics to identify patterns and assess intervention effectiveness.
• Conduct impact and risk assessments, providing clear recommendations.
• Establish effective collaboration between Wolt and Deliveroo on risk identification and response.
• Lead cross-functional delivery from problem identification to post-launch monitoring.

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in fraud, risk, compliance, policy, operations, consulting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience translating complex risk issues into practical policies and plans.
• Ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong project-management capabilities.
• Comfortable using AI-enabled tools for analysis and problem-solving.
