Overview
The role involves joining NiCE Labs, a team focused on AI Innovation, to explore and validate new AI capabilities through prototypes, contributing to product decisions for the AI agent platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build agentic systems and full-stack prototypes end-to-end, shipping first versions in days and learning from real use.
- Track advancements in AI (new models, agent patterns, protocols like MCP) and transform promising ones into working prototypes.
- Design experiments to assess concepts in terms of quality, latency, cost, and user impact.
- Collaborate with internal users, product managers, and customers to validate concepts early and iterate quickly.
- Turn validated prototypes into reference implementations for product teams and ensure smooth hand-offs.
- Provide product and platform teams with feedback on AI capabilities.
- Adapt to shifting priorities across initiatives, leveraging insights gained from previous projects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in building full-stack software, emphasizing shipped products.
- Experience in deploying LLM-powered systems to production.
- Deep understanding of AI agents, including message arrays and context management.
- Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
- Full-stack capabilities with TypeScript/Node.js and React.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and focus on user problem-solving.
- Strong UX/UI design skills are a plus.
- Experience with voice AI and evaluation design for AI systems is advantageous.
