Senior Applied AI Engineer @Forter

Overview

Forter is looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join their AI Engineering team, focusing on driving AI transformation across business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and more. This outward-facing role involves collaborating with various teams to identify and implement AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed with GTM and G&A teams to identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities, acting as both product manager and engineer.
• Own the full lifecycle of solutions from requirements gathering to deployment and impact measurement.
• Serve as the primary technical partner and AI advisor for business function leaders.
• Develop and deliver AI enablement and training for non-R&D teams.
• Collaborate to leverage shared infrastructure and provide feedback on requirements.
• Measure and report on AI adoption impact to guide prioritization and investment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
• Experience working with non-technical teams for technology-driven transformation.
• Exceptional communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong product instincts and critical thinking focused on user problems and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and self-direction.
• Passionate about LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application patterns.
• Solid understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and AI coding tools.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Location
