Senior Applied AI Engineer @Forter

Overview

Forter is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join the AI Engineering team, focusing on driving AI transformation by embedding with business teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed with GTM and G&A teams to identify, scope, and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities.
• Own the full lifecycle of each AI solution, from requirements gathering to deployment and iteration.
• Serve as the primary technical partner and AI advisor for business function leaders.
• Develop and deliver AI enablement and training for non-R&D teams.
• Collaborate with the team to leverage shared infrastructure for AI initiatives.
• Measure and report on AI adoption impact to guide continued investment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
• Experience working with non-technical teams on technology-driven transformations.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong product instincts focusing on user problems and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and self-direct in problem-solving.
• Passion for large language models and AI application patterns.
