Senior Asset Development Engineer @Five9

Overview

Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software. The company is seeking a Senior Asset Development Engineer for its Professional Services development team. This is a full-time remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the Continental United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products in a rapid development cycle to augment and extend Five9's core product offerings.
• Engage in rapid product development leveraging modern methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate in a team environment via web conferences and chat.
• Work independently while staying in sync with the team.

Requirements

• Strong software development background with end-to-end tool chains.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, and Git.
• Expert knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in Typescript, Nest.js, and VueJS.
• Understanding of cloud-based software development and web-based API interfaces.
• Familiarity with UNIX-based command line shell usage.
• Knowledge of Contact Center technologies is a plus.
• 5+ years in application or integration software development, with experience in Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) being a plus.
• 3+ years in web-based application development with various frameworks.
• 1+ years with web application hosting services such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.

Location

This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30-mile radius of one of the offices. Candidates within the 30-mile radius are required to work in a Hybrid capacity, with 3 in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
