Overview
1Password is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant for a 6-month contract position. This role will support various compensation programs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and equity within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support annual compensation processes including merit, promotion, and equity cycles from planning through completion.
- Validate compensation data and maintain accurate models while preparing analyses, reports, and recommendations.
- Coordinate new-hire, promotion, and internal-move equity awards with relevant teams.
- Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, job evaluation, and internal equity analyses.
- Provide compensation guidance to HR Business Partners and leaders.
- Support projects focused on process improvement and documentation.
- Handle sensitive employee and compensation information with discretion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a fast-growing or global organization or consulting firm.
- Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Ability to manage compensation processes from planning to implementation.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex topics clearly.
- Strong organization and detail orientation with independent judgment.
- Experience with compensation surveys and equity administration is a plus.
